Inspired by Pantone’s Cloud Dancer Colour of the Year, this experiential collaboration with Pantone and LE BOOK transformed Sekushi into a monochromatic world of softness. The evening unfolded through a bespoke tasting menu interpreted entirely through white, accompanied by sculptural tablescapes, atmospheric lighting, scent layering, and ambient sound. Conceived as an editorial dining installation rather than a traditional dinner, the experience blurred the boundaries between hospitality, design, and art, turning Sekushi into a living canvas for creative expression.

WHO IS ELIJAH Launch

Beauty

To mark its regional debut, Australian fragrance house WHO IS ELIJAH introduced its presence in the Middle East through a curated lunch in Sekushi. Founded by Raquel Bouris, the brand is known for its modern, genderless approach to fragrance and strong lifestyle identity. Bringing together tastemakers, media, and beauty insiders, the gathering offered guests an opportunity to experience the collection in conversation with the founder herself, creating a sensory moment centred around scent.

Korean Beauty Workshop

Beauty

A celebration of skincare ritual, the Korean Beauty Workshop invited guests to discover the philosophy behind K-beauty in partnership with MORE from Korea. Guided by beauty experts Jin and Jenny, attendees explored a step-by-step skincare journey using authentic products sourced directly from Korea, learning the principles behind hydration, layering, and long-term skin health. Paired with curated refreshments and festive bites, the experience combined education and beauty.

Damien Hirst Art Lecture

An intimate morning of cultural conversation unfolded through a private lecture led by art historian and gallery founder Natalya Andakulova. Centred around the Young British Artists movement and the enduring influence of Damien Hirst, the session explored the artist’s impact on contemporary culture and his connection to Sexy Fish itself, where several of his works define the restaurant’s visual identity, most notably the iconic mermaids.

SILENCE x Sexy Fish

Over the course of three days, Sekushi became the setting for an international show with Italian loungewear brand Silence, founded by Roman designers Federica Fiorentini and Ludovica Del Prete. Rooted in the idea of effortless elegance from breakfast to dinner, the activation unfolded through a curated programme of mornings with the designers, a trunk show, and an after-dark pajama party. Guests explored exclusive silk capsule pieces inspired by Sexy Fish experiencing the intersection of hospitality and contemporary lifestyle culture in a highly personal way.

Black Pearl Charm Bar

Creativity took centre stage as Black Pearl transformed Sekushi into a playful charm bar. Following a preview during our signature Brunch, guests were invited into a hands-on workshop where bespoke bracelets were designed using a curated selection of sea-inspired trinkets. Guided by the Black Pearl team and paired with drinks and curated bites, the experience blended fashion, individuality, and tactile creativity within a setting designed for discovery and connection.

Tuna Ceremony

Marking the final chapter of the Cherry Blossom season, the Tuna Ceremony brought Japanese culinary theatre to Sekushi through an intimate and immersive evening. Guests gathered to witness a live tuna-cutting ritual performed by master sushi chefs, a centuries-old tradition rooted in precision, respect, and craftsmanship. The experience unfolded alongside a curated tasting menu celebrating the versatility of tuna, complemented by a cinematic documentary filmed in Japan tracing its journey from ocean to table.

Villa Sage Divine Flow

Sekushi became a sanctuary of movement and bodyfullness through Feminine Flow, a collaboration with Villa Sage designed to reconnect guests with body, breath, and art. Led by renowned yoga practitioner Melissa Tweedy, the experience drew inspiration from the Japanese philosophy of wa — harmony between mind, body, and spirit. Surrounded by marine-inspired interiors and panoramic skyline views, guests moved through an intentional one-hour flow for an elevated wellness morning.

Captured by celebrity photographer Jason Lloyd-Evans, the evening unfolded around Eu no ma — a bespoke tasting menu meaning “the space between beautiful connections.” A true fusion of fashion, food, and creative energy, the event marked Sekushi’s debut as a premium private dining canvas.

Kokedama, often called the “man’s bonsai,” is a centuries-old Japanese art form where plants are sculpted into moss-covered spheres.
